Auto assign track number in foobar

I have an album with missing track number tags. The files names are sequential so all I need is for foobar to add the track number tag from 1-9 as they are in the directory. Is this possible in foobar2000 and if not, do program exists for this purpose?

Add them in a playlist and use auto-track number at R.Click/properties (and R.Click again). That's supposing the order in the playlist is the order in the folder, as you desire.

It requires all to be in the same folder (or it will start at 1 anew).

If the file names actually include the track number, one can also (under file properties) right-click and use the last Automatically fill option.
