Why all the talking about cue sheets? You never need them.
Just burn from individual wav files, burn gapless for mixes and live-recordings.

Don't pretend as if you speak for everyone.  What you really mean to say is that you never need them.

With that in mind let's hope you never mistakenly burn tracks that need de-emphasis for proper playback.

some of the finer details involved in the art of CD creation.  Things like [...] sub-code/toc manipulation.

I don't use pre-emphasis tracks either.
But again, nobody NEEDS cue-sheets, some people WANT to use cue sheets. But thats another thing.
And I ask myself why, because you can read in this topic that it often leads to problems.
While all these problems are so easy to avoid, but hey, it's your time

You don't use pre-emphasis, therefore no one has ever had nor ever will have a need to use it.

I really don't care that you're hopelessly clueless and egocentric. I do care that your nonsense may lead others astray.

You made it clear that you don't think people need cue sheets.  Fine, now please go away.
