Nero ShowTime Mobile Beta 2 Released

When I try to play songs in my playlist, Nero Showtime Mobile will play one track, then freeze right at the end of that track.  Is there some kind of setting that I am missing, or is there a problem with the player?

By the way, my files are encoded using LAME 3.97b1, with the following parameters: -V1 --vbr-new
and my Pocket PC is an iPaq hx2755 with a 624mHz processor and 256Mb of total memory (128Mb Ram).

Once this is working and there are proper sorting features, though, this software will be great (the only player available with gapless playback, which isn't perfect yet due to the slight pops between tracks, and the ReplayGain support).

If this was available for the Palm, I would be "sporting a tremendous woody"!

I remember Garf mentioning somewhere that there were no plans yet for a Palm port of it.

You can always use TCPMP in PalmOS...

Until Nero Showtime Mobile gets its act together, iPlay from 40th floor software is the best (Pocket PC-only) audio player available.  True, perfect gapless play (mp3, m4a, mp4, OGG, and FLAC).  Optional server support (for streaming music wirelessly from any enabled PCs, and even between handhelds).  Extensive EQ options, gain adjustments that can indirectly take advantage of ReplayGain values (there's no RG reader yet, but you can use foobar's masstagger to set tags that iPlay will be able to read--you have to change file names as well...like I said, indirect method of using RG, and too in-depth to go into here/now, but at least there's the possibility).

I just finished the demo and purchased for fairly small fee considering what you get.  You can find it at the following website:

http://iplay.40th.com/

Although it isn't free, if you love music and have a Pocket PC, this software is currently the best and a must-have.

That's my choice.  I tried the first beta of ShowTime Mobile.  The playback of my video files was extremely slow, and the video was very blocky.  The same files in TCPMP played back flawlessly (other than the "green" smear, which has not been a problem since 0.66).

There's no .m4a AAC plug-in, though.

Yes there is

You know, the old licensing issue showing up its ugly head again.

What about the AVC plugin for TCPMP? That was removed as well due to licensing issues. Do you have that available as well, or know where it can be found?
