Simply adding tracks to a new playlist

This seems like a silly question but is there a simple way to add tracks to a playlist directly without having to copy-paste it. I also want it to do it in an existing playlist without it switching to that playlist.

The context menu buttons in settings do not show any such option.

If you have a Playlist manager instance in your layout, you can drag/drop on to a specific playlist and the files will be appended to the end without switching.

You're talking about right clicking tracks and shifting them onto a playlist? Or are you talking about what came up when I googled 'Playlist Manager': https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_plorg

Because the former isn't a simple one-click as in Spotify. Isn't this a really basic feature that all media players should have?
