Either download the zip file again (updated) or if that doesn't help you can just change the behaviour of the presets under Settings / Grouping / Playlist Filter. Change "Album Artist" to disable on and put the names of playlists next to it that shouldn't use that preset. Vice versa you edit the "Single" preset to only show on specific playlists. That should change the "standard" behaviour.

As for the problem with the top letters. Right click, choose Settings. In the "Others" tab change the "Click actions". Maybe you have to set everything to default. That worked very slowly with large playlists that's why I changed to behaviour. I assume you also have Graphical Browser rev015?

yes rev015. i set single click from none to default and it does do something now, but seems like there is a little hesitation right after the click to when it shows the corresponding letter playlist below.

is there any other plugin that can do something similar that the graphical browser does to make the alphabet deal at the top? I have a very current computer, but as you can see that plugin has a bug in it and its a damn shame its not being updated anymore. As soon as I click one of the the "Buttons" to the top left of album art ( ||||, 1, 2 ) then the alphabet will show just fine. I have noticed however that if shpeck plugin that's at the bottom isn't rendered of doesn't load right that the alphabet will show just fine. But in order to get shpeck to work right you have to close and restart foobar2000, then shpeck loads up like normal but the alphabet area is a white box.

Right Click in Playlist > Setting... >Grouping
In [Group by]: Select Artist Album, after that, select Disable On in playlist filter
With Histtory, like Artist Album...
Last, select Single in [group by], and [enable only on] in playlist filter > OK

Whenever I play a song from a rar file, I get a pop up saying
Could not update tags (Access denied) on:
"song location here"

Is there a way to fix this?

Also, would it be possible to make some type of way to browse different picture files in folders, like, if there was 1.jpg and 2.jpg, to be able to look through them using foobar.

Yes, same problem here as  RavenSoft. When I double click on a letter sometimes I get a playlist with all the same titles. When looking at the playlist the default is then called Graphical Browser and most letters of the menu are gone. When I switch back to MyPlaylist, the letters are showing again, but do not work.

This two buttons don`t work when I click on them, but run services from context menu work fine.

Great config but I have a problem.
every time my foobar restarts some of the images are mising(including the static background image), the images will show again only by re-importing the theme!!
using the latest version and components pack from brett's site

Well right click on a letter and go to settings. Click on Others tab and bottom left you see click actions. single click is blank, if you set it to default then it works, just doesn't seem like original version of this theme but I don't want to mess with setting my foobar up again to see.


*EDIT*

Here is a screenshot that shows the shpeck plugin not rendered/loaded correctly, and the alphabet thing at the top shows up just fine.

Upon restart shpeck plugin almost always loads fine but then the alphabet deal at the top is a white box until I hit one of the three buttons at the top left corner. Is it really a bug in the graphical browser or the theme itself?

Yes, I already found it with the default item which was blank. However I also noted the blank box, but not always; furthermore sometimes the animations are not working, then when I close and restart Foo, then it mostly works.

I also don't wanna mess around with the configuration importing the original. Maybe I'll try it on my other PC.

SOLUTION FOR THE ALPHABETICAL NAVIGATOR ON TOP
So... as some of you have figured out the "default" click option takes much too long to jump to the correct space in the playlist. I have set the left mouse button for the Graphical Browser on top to "Edit/Highlight in Current Playlist". The playlist scrolls immediately to the correct position (and well, selects all entries with that letter, but see it as a feature ). The thing is - this menu entry is only available with "foo_utils". So get that plugin and rock on..

By the way, I've updated the zip-file to fix some minor things and a problem with the artist path (somehow the parent directory wasn't found always...).

Really great setup you have here with Curacao! I appreciate it a lot and it looks amazing. I have been using it for about a week now on my desktop and just got around to loading it on my laptop as well. Excuse me if this has been addressed earlier in this thread (I think I remember reading something about it but not sure), but is it possible to add a scroll bar to the right of the playlist? It wasn't a big deal on my desktop, but the scroll built in to my laptop touchpad is a little difficult to use with the config. I think a scroll bar could be integrated with the whole visual theme without detracting from it too much. If you can't find a way to add one that looks appealing it's not a big deal though. I will still use your plugin because I really enjoy it! Thanks

*Edit: I noticed after reading through some of these posts that some users are having issues with the alphabet and buttons on the top. I wasn't having any issues on my desktop, but the first time I loaded foobar on my laptop the 5 buttons to the right of the alphabet were invisible. The main difference between my desktop and laptop is my laptop is running vista, so this leads me to believe vista is causing the issue. However, I know virtually nothing about programming, so this may not be the problem at all. Hopefully this helps you in case you look into the issue though. Thanks again!

I tried to but I'm not so fit in scripting.

If I play an album with Various Artists the group-popup only shows the artist of the first song.
Is it possible that the group popup is showing the single artist picture of the playing song?

btw, I like your ELP-Settings very much (especially the popup thing), just modified a liitle bit for my needs.

To my knowledge it's a restriction of the group format in ELP (at the moment).
It only gets information from the first title in a group.

Well I just want to give some feedback to the updated tweaks from Onkel. BTW it's more than only a slight modification. Looks good at first sight and the alphabetic letters are working as they should.IO
I appreciate the works and I'm quite satisfied with it.

Of course another question: when starting foo the first item from the group is always expanded. I would like to have it collapsed as default.

I've converted a set of digits to blue to match the colour used for the Artist and Album in the header which I think blends in better, if you want to try them just download and unzip into your C:\Program Files\foobar2000\Images\curacao\digits\set1 folder

The only useful thing would be to tweak the code under //Cover and Artist Picture. When you change the lines in Popup-Code to the following one:

the popup would work like this:
When you hover over the group header of a normal album the artist picture is shown, when available, otherwise the cover. When you hover over the header of a sampler, only the cover is shown and no artist picture from the first or any other artists 

Maybe the $if($findfile.. stuff could be replaced by a simple $if2 but only maybe.. *g* bubi jackson - wanna share your additional tweaks?
