Winamp-Plugin for Flac just don´t play...

First, i hope you excuse my bad english... 

After reading a lot about Flac i downloaded the Flac-package from audiohq...

Encoding and playing with foobar (seems to be an quite interesting player!) was no problem...
But i also installed the Winamp-plugin and it just won´t start playing the Flac´s...
The in_flac.dll is in the ...\winamp\plugin - but i cannot set any option in the plugin-preferences (I just can´t see the plugin)...

Is this normal? or do i need an update? (from where?)

Do you have any ideas...

I´m using Winamp 2.81 on Win 98SE...
