Transcoding with megui has audio bit depth problem?

e.g. when converting dtd-hdma to flac it'll always output 16-bit flac file instead of the original bitdepth.
And there's no bitdepth option available as far as I can see.

This also makes me wonder if I convert 24-bit flac to AAC, will it do the job correctly?
Dunno if it's internal processing logic is 16-bit or what.

Any response would be appreciate. Thanks!

Did you try asking at Doom9?
It's only audiophile if it's inconvenient.
