Mod files doesn't open by drag zip or folder onto program

Hi everyone.
I found this and don't know if is intentional or a bug, i want to load those .zip in foobar2k but for some reason nothing happens, so, i have to extract one by one for finally the program could read it.

Run the foobar2000 installer and tick the Archive Reader? (It will then read e.g. .mp3s in .zip as well.)
Or have you done that, and the problem is particular to mod files?
