Question About Reading CUETools Logfiles

Hello--

I have been searching through the forums/wiki/YouTube, but can't find a definitive answer (or I'm too dumb to understand what I'm reading, which is a distinct possibility) to my issue, which I'm not even sure is an issue. Maybe more just clarification, but now we're getting into semantics.

I have been using EAC to rip FLAC copies of my CDs for years. Whenever I had a CD that wouldn't rip properly, I would just torrent a lossless copy of it. But now, I would like to just save the time and trouble of locating a proper torrent to download and just repair my bad rips with CUETools. The problem is I can't find a guide to help me read the logfile to see if the tracks were repaired correctly. I think they were based on the verbiage at the top of the log.

I guess my question is this: Does "CUETools DB: corrected xxx errors" mean the files were successfully repaired? I attached my logfile below. Thanks for any/all info!

Gee I would think the "Accurately ripped" after every track would give some indication.

Seriously though, the text at the top only lets you know that you used the repair script and some samples were corrected based on the recovery record you used. It doesn't tell you if you used the correct recovery record to perform the repair. The database result will tell you if your rip now matches for all tracks. I would run 'Verify' to see the CTDB result as well.
