foobar2000 mobile / Re: [Feature request] Extended tags and slightly different sorting behavior
Last post by racheldanae -
OK, so I tried it and that did help in that it separates tracks into separate discs, which makes things considerably less clunky - thanks a lot for that! :-)

Unfortunately, despite the less-clunky track order, the albums are still being merged. To show what I mean, I'm including three attachments. The first two are screenshots of my foobar2000 setup, which show how two recordings of Shostakovich's 5th Symphony have their own separate nodes due to their different dates. In foobar2000 mobile, those same two recordings are merged into a single album with a single cover despite having different dates (the third attachment). I'm wondering if there's a workaround for this as well?

15 seconds of non-responsiveness for 3 .opus files generated by NewPipe (and many more when you have a whole folder, and imagine the concern if you can't figure this out!), and many more again upon trying to open the files, or upon closing and reopening the app, whereupon foobar2000 will still be in the same folder and repeat the ordeal.

3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Re: Wine/Spider Monkey Panel/Script bugs on Linux
Last post by marc2k3 -
I've submitted a PR on github to fix the issues with the included "complete" samples. Specifically the DPI registry issue and handle when the clipboard is unavailable. It's better to use try/catch rather than nuke the functionality for the 99.9% of people who will be on windows.

https://github.com/TheQwertiest/smp_2003/pull/9/files

I'll list the required winetricks packages for everything else later.

With foo_multisource .55, did you move ALL of the sources prefaced NEWDB: to the Search Order box on the left of the LSP3 panel?  As I mentioned, it includes Minilyrics and supercedes the built-in entries.  Works beautifully here on FB 1.6.8;  OS is Windows 10x64 21H2.

foo_dyndec requires a different syntax for using the tag data it finds, for example %dartist% instead of %artist%.  I don't know if you can "port" this over to the Crintsoft app or not.  I use it to enable constructing web searches against stream metadata for foo_run's Run Services entries, as in the post here: https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php?topic=117737.msg972178#msg972178 .  You could try posting to Case on that thread or here to ask what additional uses it has that may help you.

I'm referring to the Crintsoft application, I like it's options and configurability. I used to run it concurrently with Lyrics Show Panel 3, and used its editor to manage the downloaded lyrics. Unfortunately, it no longer works with Internet radio. Does anyone know how to intercept the stream and decode the artist and title, then pass it onto MiniLyrics? I have installed  Lyrics Show Panel 3 and foo_multisource, after some fiddling it is working. 55 failed to work for me, .50 did work, I have no idea why. I'm running foobar2000 v1.6.8. I installed foo_dyndec, how do I configure it? Not seeming to work with Minilyrics. Thanks sveakul for the useful reply.
