The program interface are silly and doesn't have a professional look. I'm still not convinced about this ripper. Oviri, you have a large potential user base here at HA, but until now it doesn't seem you are taking all the constructive feedback serious. I really don't get the point of it...
Simple: Braindead development communication, best alternatives (eac, fb2k) exist -> No point in here.

Maybe after implementing Musepack support, he came under the impression that Hydrogenaudio members perceive "Braindead" to be of higher quality than "Insane", "Extreme", or "Standard"...

Best alternative exist and surely it doesn't call EAC or FooBar...

You're arrogant and don't know the first thing about proper software design, you're not great at at all.

Dr. Oviri, honestly, I wish I had need of a CD ripper so I could use your software. Your public behaviour is amusing and fascinating and your development strategies are one-of-a-kind.

Keep your chin up, eh?

Gee, I bet this one doesn't use the registry...

Sorry but the last thing I need is an (even more) messed up windows registry.

I will write to Edward Albee and I will ask him to serve a new comedy as the title:

Who's Afraid of Registry?

Kwanbis, you don't understand.

Sure, most people shouldn't use the registry since they can't program very well and will just mess things up.  But Dr. Oviri is a programming genius and there's no way his program will mess things up in the registry.  Portability isn't really a problem because real world users don't actually use more than one computer -- don't worry it's a common misperception.

I *recommend* you that if you truly are interested on people using your application, (and if not, why are you posting about it?), to start listening to requests.

I am not able... I have put the headphones

Found a bunch of other tools by Dr Oviri with confusing descriptions. It appears that there's yet another CD ripper, only this time it's expensive shareware. I wonder if somebody actually purchased it.

OK, how about we stop the Oviri-bashing and start actually talking about his CD ripper again? Whether or not Dottore Oviri is actually funny is definitely a matter of opinion  but he does seem to have more of a sense of humour than most of the people in this thread...

In case you didn't know: Dr. Oviri's (only genuine with at least 3 smileys) greatness is tiny compared with the crypto expert The Kryptochef.

Why are 256 bits the technically highest coding depth at all on computers possible are ?

A computer knows only 256 different indications.
1 indication = 1 byte has 8 bits in binary the number system exactly.
1 bit knows only the switching status:
on or out or 0 or 1 by the combination of these 8 bits results 256 bits.
The computation in addition:
2 switching status highly 8 bits = 256 bits these 256 bits
is addressed in decimally the number system from 0 to 255 = 256 bits.
Computers work however in in hexadecimals the number system.
There these 256 bits designated above are addressed from 00 to FF = 256 bits.
A byte cannot be thus under bits 0 or over bits 255.
Therefore 256 bits are the technically highest coding depth at all on computers
possible are.

Maybe a silly question, but is anybody actually using this program?

Sure...

1) Dr. Oviri
2) Andre Wiethoff
3) Albert Faber
4) Jackie French

The slogan could be:
the CD ripper used from CD Ripper developer

"Stupid is as stupid does."

In fact I believe that the Porsche brings too much time away from me...

It is or not the most amusing discussion of the forum?

Yay, I'm sure you're having a hard time riding around 5 wives in a Porsche! I think you could have done better with 5 Porsches and a wife, but that's me!

Most amusing by a long shot, if you ask me!
