How to split tta file into tracks with CUETools?

OK so I downloaded this tta file and I want to split it into tracks. Is that even possible without a cue-sheet? Is there supposed to be an embedded cue-sheet cos there isn't one...
(I'm new to this btw) So then I try to create a cue sheet but then it says:

"Exception: Doesn't seem to be part of an album"

Does that mean I'm screwed? Do I have to convert it to another format first? Will I simply have to split it manually? Should I look for a cue-sheet/file-(I dunno)? All them questions bro...

I don't know if TTA supports an embedded cue-sheet. I do know that CUETools doesn't support embedded cue-sheets with TTA.
Contact the place where you purchased the download.
You could split the file manually in an audio editor.
For CUETools you'll need a cue sheet.
You can use TOC info from MusicBrainz or freedb for track positions and write a simple one manually in a text editor.
