free MPEG-4 Streaming System

i found the following project, which seems to offer a free MP4 streaming server:

Hehe, these people actually work for the university I go to  but I think this server has been available for quite some time at least I remember reading about it about a year ago.  I have never used this server before though so I don't know how well it works.  Unfortunately I don't know any of the guys that made it since I am not an engineering student .
