I think its partly because of the way this forum is built. Sometimes i do wish for a declutter of the messages. A lot of space is occupied by unnecessary info. Not optimal for phones. Also tree structure for responses would be neat.The last time I checked, Tapatalk didn't work with it either.
MP3 in contrary is abandoned. LAME, Helix, FhG mp3 encoders are no longer under development.The fact your parents don't supposedly look after you since you left home, does not necessarily mean they have abandoned you.

Does anybody know if there is active development of any MP3 encoder? There were some changes for Helix encoder this year but it's related to usability not quality. LAME 3.99 is faster than 3.98 but pretty the same in terms of quality. And LAME 3.100/3.101 didn't bring any quality improvements.
It seem TF3RDL has scared off the original developer so much that we'll have to look elsewhere now...Hence, the reason why I've made a separate thread dedicated for feature requests for this component
