copy-protected CD?

I've just bought Ayumi Hamasaki CD, A Ballad. I inserted it to the CD-ROM and tried to play it and everything was normal. Then I tried to grab it using EAC. Something weird happened. All the tracks were track zero  then I started to grab it. Too bad, the error indicator was on all the time so it needed almost 3 hours only to complete 1 track. After finish, I play the wav, and the song was choppy... 

Do you guys know what kind of copy-protect is this? And how to defeat it? because I don't want to play from the original CD all the time.
