E-MU 404 PCI to ADCOM GFP-555 Preamp

I want to setup a small foot print PC with an archive (flac) of my 330 Cds that I can listen to on my old stereo (RCA only inputs).  Will the E-MU 404 PCI to my ADCOM GFP-555 Preamp work (to the AUX RCA input)?  Alternatives?

I know this is very subjective but will the playback sound be acceptable (close to what the ADCOM CD player gives me)?
