MPEG4 Audio natual tools ver 2, and BSAC coder

Dear Folks

I am new to the MPEG-4 codecs, and its tools. In the past, I was trying to find an encoder for BSAC encoder/decoder, So the best way was to use ISO MPEG-4 TOOLS: (which can be found at )

look for :dvanced Video Coding (AVC) and High Efficiency Advanced Audio Coding (HE AAC) reference software

The problem that I followed the instructions, for fedora core 5  compilation, and I have faced alot of errors? though I followed the written instructions.So any advices? help? more documentation about that, other URLs that has better tools?
