Is it possible to set foobar up with a plex media server?

Has anyone been successful in getting a plex media server connected on foobar2000 mobile?

I'm running the Plex server on my Synology.

I swore I got this working ages ago but I cannot get it up and running now.

You probably had DLNA enabled on your Plex server. FB2K will detect it while in LAN obviously.

Wish there was a bridge for it. (Where's that lovely foo_plex we need :D)

Here's the setting on the DLNA page. What do I need to edit to get this working?

We are talking about FB2k mobile here. I didn't know plugins were supported.

This won't work outside that network? If not, is there a way to do this?

Use plexamp to download media to your phone from your server for playing outside the network.
What's the advantage again of consuming your Plex music library through foobar2000 mobile?

I have my foobar2000 desktop layout customized with components and theme files etc so I wish there was a way to install some sort of a "plex media library bridge" component and play my music server through fb2k on my computer. However the foobar2000 mobile app seems rather spartan and I see no reason to be using that over plexamp 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love plexamp myself. However having this work with the desktop app would be pretty great.

The plexamp desktop app is a joke. FB2K on the desktop is no doubt a superior experience.
