Title: foo_uie_albumlist
Post by: ReneGadeR on 2024-04-21 20:17:05
Greetings to all!

Out of nowhere Bitdefender recognised foo_uie_albumlist.dll as infected:

The file C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\foobar2000-v2\user-components-x64\foo_uie_albumlist \foo_uie_albumlist.dll is infected with Gen:Variant.Lazy.515098 and was moved to quarantine.
It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean.

Anyone else with a similar experience? Is this just a fake positive?

That can be reproduced on VirusTotal with the last version of the component released in November, and so yes, that's a false positive.

Report it to BitDefender as such: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/29358/
