Title: audioscrobbler vs podcatcher networking
Post by: Jambe on 2013-03-25 19:30:40
Situation: scrobbling works fine as long as the "Specify proxy address:" radio button in foobar2000's Networking window is selected (and I've got turtle.libre.fm in there). However, when that radio button is selected, foo_podcatcher can't resolve feeds (404s). If I want to update my podcasts I need to change the aforementioned radio button to "No proxy" and restart foobar2000 (and then if I want to scrobble again I need to change the button back and restart yet again).

Question: can I get these two components playing nicely? I gather the scrobbling component once had its own (discrete) proxy settings, which I should think would resolve this issue.

I imagine the resolution to this is super-obvious and I'm just being a dolt, but I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks, kind stranger; that did the trick!

I suppose it might be useful to enable such a mod from within foobar2000 (or to enable components to have their own proxy settings or something, perhaps in the form of sub-windows in the Networking tree).
