LAME/ReplayGain Script

Hello!

I'm wondering if someone can help me out here.

I'm looking to see if it is remotely possible for someone to create or point me to an existing script of some sort where it would instruct a LAME binary to encode a folder of .wav files to a specific set of options.  One of those options would be "--replaygain-accurate --scale 1."  If the encode does not produce an MP3 that doesn't clip, the script should be able to move it to the trash, and re-encode the .wav to the suggested scaling until the desired gain is applied.  I know nothing of programming, yet have come across Perl scripts that can automate some processes, but nothing that could quite take it this far.

Any advice or help is really most appreciated.

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this.
