128k stream sound problems

I listen to 2 stations,  96k and 128k, the same show.

I hear a squeaky sound during vocal discussions.  Apparently music will mask it for my ears.  It sounds high pitch but it isn't because I can't really eliminate it with any simple range of low pass band filters.

Is this expected.  One is shoutcast.
