About DSP dialog
I want to apologize in advance for my English.
Peter, could you add as an option to enable or disable old buttons in the DSP dialog(adding and moving plugins in the chain), as it was in version 1.3.17.

The new version of dsp dialog is not very easy to use.
For me, the same old view of the panel is more convenient ..
Please clarify which parts of the new DSP dialog are not easy to use.
As far as I can see, it is better in every way:
- Add DSPs with a single click on the +, or drag&drop
- Remove with a single click on the x
- Configure also with a single click
- Drag&drop to reorder
All of the above is also doable with just the keyboard. The only not obvious part is reordering - use ctrl+shift+cursorkeys to move the currently selected entry/entries around.
Well I will try to explain.
This is all about add, remove, reorder plug-ins in the chain.
In new version of dsp plugin manager very small controls add, remove, configure.
It is quite difficult to aim the mouse in a small X or + or ...

Drag n drop (https://youtu.be/KYNgPE7sQgw) only works after the first click, the first click and hold only select the rows.
In the old version for all these actions were responsible buttons, do not need to aim the mouse in a small + or X or ...(cofig).
I only propose to add buttons(config, add, remove, up, dn) as an option, if of course it is possible.
The old version is more familiar to use.
There are right click menus for configure/add/remove already, just not for move up/down - if you find the x and + marks too hard to aim at. I can add menu commands for move up/down as well, rather than restore the old buttons.
I can also make the + and x marks a bit larger if it helps.
I still see no valid reason to bring the buttons back. Of course the old version is more familiar, it's had been unchanged for at least a decade, but that's no reason to provide a way to opt out of every visual change that I introduce.
Ok I understood.
I can also make the + and x marks a bit larger if it helps.
If it's not difficult then yes it would help.
Thank you for your time.
Made various adjustments to the DSP dialog in beta 14:
- Larger glyphs in the list
- Visual feedback indicating the actual clickable area around the glyphs.
- Context menu for moving items up/down the list.
Thank you for the helpful adjustments.
Since it exists, I use the DSP component Channel Mixer (https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,29985.0.html). I know it is old and there haven't been updates for the last 10 years or so, but it always worked without problems until foobar2000 beta14.
Now whatever I do in the DSP configuration of this component, foobar2000 crashes, even when I only press cancel.
P.S. I joined this topic because I suspect the changes in the DSP dialog might be related to this.
Bug confirmed, thanks for reporting.
Fixed in beta 15, just posted.
Thanks for the quick fix.
