need a tag / filename editor replacement for the godfather

The godfather was easily the best of it's breed a few years ago, but since it's no longer in development, and it's freedb lookup doesn't calculate disk IDs properly for cds made in the last few years, I have to look for a replacement.

I will use it for tagging and renaming live shows as well as ripped CDs (I like to combine multi-disc albums into single folders)

some sort of "tag & rename in one step" function would be great (like the godfather's automate script)

so far I've been through mediamonkey, helium, tag & rename, and a half dozen others i can't remember. what do you folks use?

I find mp3tag to be very powerful and flexible.  Don't let the name fool you, it tags any kind of music files (FLAC, AAC, mp3, OGG, etc.).
