Thanks. As you stated, the configuration in the file still seems to be intact. That somewhat implies the problem is happening when reading the settings, rather than when writing them.

Could you provide a little bit more information about your hardware (e.g. what CPU do you have)? Could you also check if it still happens with a new portable installation of foobar2000 (with Columns UI and Album list panel as the only additional components)? (You can copy your foo_uie_albumlist.dll.cfg over to it when foobar2000 is closed.)
3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / crash with mixed file types

Thank you very much for making a 64-bit version of this.  Installed and used it extensively this past weekend, and it performed extremely well with one exception:  if a folder contained files of mixed type (FLAC + MP3, for example), it crashed foobar2000.  Though probably not very common with single albums, I have multiple folders of mixed files downloaded from various online sellers that would love it if this could be corrected.  Appreciate the consideration.

Another bug:

If you try to rename some files that already have "correct" names (i.e. there is nothing to rename) and by mistake hit Run button instead of Cancel, foobar2000 invariably crashes. Or if you mistakenly hit Run again after files were succesfully renamed.

That looks very odd. Could you upload (or send me) your foo_uie_albumlist.dll.cfg (ideally one that is OK and a copy of one immediately after the problem occurs)?

I compared the foo_uie_albumlist.dll.cfg file before the reboot and after the reboot, the file is unchanged but I lost the settings  :(  I am sending you this file via PM

The sound chip on my Nvidia video card supports 16bit 32, 44.1, 48 kHz and 24bit 44.1, 48 kHz.
Audio with higher sample rates (96, 192 kHz) have to be resampled, which Windows will do if you use the default WASAPI Shared output in foobar2000 (Samsung/Nvidia output uses WASAPI Shared).
If you use an output marked [exclusive] which is WASAPI Exclusive, only files with 44.1 and 48 kHz sample rates will play (unless you use a resampler DSP).
So set the Windows/Nvidia sound settings to 24bit/48 kHz, and select the Nvidia output in foobar2000.
ASIO also plays the audio as is, so 96/192/384/etc. kHz will not play unless resampled.

I have everything here (TV/PC monitor, turntable, bluray player, PC, VU Meter, speakers, and headphones) connected together with an RME ADI Pro 2/4 SE, it acts like a "hub". Seamless switching and auto-switching (if desired) between sources and destinations, very high sound quality etc. Having said that, for the TV/PC monitor I'm not using HDMI but just the optical digital audio outs to connect to the RME.
