nyquist vs ear properties theory?

I remember coming across an article on the web but can't re-find it.

It stated observations made by nyquist regarding latencies between the left and right ears (in μs).

Genuine question.
I've googled but cannot find that topic,

any links?

I don't remember a Nyquist paper on this, but the generally accepted minimum detectable inter aural time delay is 10us. The original work was done in the 1950s or 1960s - I don't have the reference to hand - but it's been confirmed many times, e.g.
