Is this a proper EAC rip?

Did you properly configured EAC to support AccurateRip, or did you download this off some filesharing site? If you are asking this question, my bet would be the second choice.
I can write EAC log by myself, and there is no way for you to know if this is genuinely produced EAC log, or I've wrote it in notepad.
Anyways, you can re-rip the CD's with some other software which support AccurateRip just to be sure.

Or he could just run it through CueTools...

Naively assuming that you did it yourself, if AccurateRip was properly configured, all you need to see is "Accurately ripped (confidence n)" for your answer.

This is my rip i did it myself just wanting to know if it is correct thanks?

Ripping the file yourself is the way of telling that the logfile is actually associated to the files you have, so ...

You have ripped twice, just one minute apart (does it really only take a minute?) and posted two logs. Maybe you have misunderstood the test + copy concept: each of your rips consist of a "test" and a "copy" (and they do match), so you do not have to rip again. In fact, you can see that apart from the time, the logs say precisely the same (well I didn't actually diff them).

- You have set "Overread" to "no". I don't know if this particular model supports it. If it does, one might consider using it.
- Someone will probably be able to tell you whether "Native Win32 interface for Win NT & 2000" is the preferred mode.

I do however guess that you have not ripped the mono version of the record.  The database chooses ("guesses"!) CD from the table of contents, that is, the length of each track.  That is, if the stereo version has the same track lengths, there is no way for EAC to tell them apart, and it will make an arbitrary choice between the two.  Since you do get a bitrate of 768 compressed -- that is more than half the bitrate of an uncompressed stereo -- then maybe you have indeed ripped the stereo version?

ok what is overhead? And in the mono version i ripped you said it ripped 2 times?and i did do test and copy i just want to know if you can tell by the log am i doing it right thanks.

That's a fixed estimate of the average bitrate of a FLAC file that you configure in EAC - it tells you nothing about the actual bitrate.

This is incorrect. The mono and stereo Beatles remasters are completely different albums, including a different TOC.

Over-read (read, not head): I'm a bit on thin ice here, hope someone will make sure to correct me (edit: again, thanks to Ouroboros and Goratrix):

Because CD drives do not agree on precisely where a CD starts (just like when you drop the stylus at the beginning of an LP), there is this "offset" (the 667) which is used to align the drives. That alignment means the CD drive should read either a little bit before it thinks the track starts, or a little bit after. In the latter case, the last track must end slightly after the CD drive thinks the CD ends. Forcing the drive to read outside what it thinks is the CD, is 'overreading'. In your case, the 667 samples might lead to 0.01 or 0.02 seconds at the end of the CD, will be replaced by silence. Usually that part is complete silence, --> no damage done. In other cases the last track might fail to verify by AccurateRip because you have actually lost a bit of the signal. You should not panic about losing music -- if some track fades out not all the way to zero, but merely to nearly zero volume, then you wouldn't worry much about the last 0.01 second.

A different issue is those relatively few CDs which have a hidden pregap track. That is, those where you can find a bonus track by starting your CD player at track 1 and then rewinding past time 0. In my rips they are about 1 in 230 (classical music excluded), and even being actual songs.

Is this a proper EAC rip?

it looks a like a accurate rip but i would disable c2 = Make use of C2 pointers : No,  there is no need to rip the cd twice.

Is this a proper EAC rip?

the last track might fail to verify by AccurateRip because you have actually lost a bit of the signal

AccurateRip checksums ignore the first and last 5 sectors of the rip, so verification is not affected by offset correction/overread ability (unless the offset is bigger than any we've seen so far).

Newfie1970, when posting a log file, wrap it in codebox tags, or use the codebox option (when editing a post, click on Insert Special Item...).

Test & Copy, as opposed to just Copy, means it first does a test rip — it doesn't actually write the data out to a file, it just makes a note of the CRC32 checksum of the audio data — and then it rips it again, this time actually writing the data to files, and again making a note of the checksum. If the checksums match, it's considered a good rip. Test & Copy is generally for if you're using Burst or Fast mode. If you are using Secure or Paranoid mode, it's doing re-reads during the rip, so Test & Copy is probably overkill; you can use just Copy, and your logfile will no longer have a Test CRC, and the rip will take half as long

The toggle for C2 pointers is in Drive Options under Extraction Method, the same place where you choose the rip mode. I'm not convinced that disabling it is a good idea if your rips of popular CDs like these are getting lots of matches on AccurateRip. I would only be concerned about it if you were getting supposedly error-free rips that were not matching.

Test & Copy is generally for if you're using Burst or Fast mode.

...or if you're using C2 pointers in secure mode.

Really though, any time AccurateRip gives positive verification test and copy was not necessary, regardless of the ripping mode.

As such my recommendation is to simply use the copy operation, check the AR results and then perform a test pass on the tracks that can't be verified as accurate, unless you're using secure mode without C2 pointers in which case a test pass is going to be a waste of time.

newfie1970, did you use the "Detect Reading Features button" in EAC, in order to check if EAC have to defeat cache? As far I know, LG DVD Multi drives  based on Renesas chipset (+667 in AccurateRip) needn't this in EAC (They can cache 37-39 KB, only) and defeating cache slows down ripping process and stresses drive.

Sorry for my english, I´m a non-native english writer.
