is there any lossless format that can be played in wmp9 as well as winamp2?

Winamp2 can't play WMA9 files, at least not with included plugins. As far as I know there are no direct show filters for any other lossless formats so for WMP WMA9 is currently only choice.

WMP9 has a lossless mode indeed.

there's no winamp2 plugin for wma lossless.
