Vinyl - coloured vs black - question

Don't know if this is the place to ask or if anyone will know but I'm curious is it just a myth that coloured vinyl sounds worse than traditional black vinyl or is there some truth in it? Someone was saying to me that it's all the same but depends on how it's been pressed (or cut, whichever).

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I believe most coloured vinyl sounds just as good as normal vinyl.

Picture-discs however sound worse than normal vinyl.
