Columns UI: Floating Panel

Am I able to have a floating panel in columns ui? I'd like my basic foobar layout with my search windows and then drag and drop results to an active playlist.

Also I've forgotten which dll I need to manually drag/change the width of my columns! Any help gratefully received.
