Average Bitrate ?

is there a proggy that would get/calculate an average bitrate from a bunch of mp3 files?

What type of program did you want? One with GUI is Mpeg Audio Collection at www.jfaul.de

it shows the average bitrate of the 'collection' of 313 files - 2.58 GB as 213 kbit/s (--alt-preset standard, dibroms compile 3.90.2).

edit: some abr nonsense...

Ehh? ABR = Average Bitrate - that's what you asked for.

lol, yeah, silly me..., was to slow to reedit the post before ur reply, it is abr of the vbr files of course
