Last post by Case -"On downsampling the high samplerate source, pressing album to maximum volume (minus safety margin of 0.5db)"Obviously doesn't work as the intersample peaks can be way higher than 0.5 dB.
Edit: Oh sorry, I missed the bit that you use True Peak clipping prevention. You don't need a safety margin in that case at all.

Last post by Case -Mastering engineer Daniel Ovie tests found out that it's perceptible and the least disturbing setting is Intermediate instead of the default Linear.Where are these listening tests published? I couldn't find anything. Also just pointing out that any deviation from correct and perfect linear phase filtering will lower the signal fidelity as its timing or waveform will no longer match original.

Our regret the last 5 years was filling your gnudb from our program (EAC and dBpoweramp would have been the majority of submissions), a regret which has been corrected by something of much higher quality.
"Dbpoweramp misrepresents its requests to Gnudb, referring to it as "freedb (archived)" while actually retrieving data from Gnudb"
Incorrect (again!), we have the database when freedb shut down, we run our own freedb server hence archived. We do not use anything gnudb, and would not use your db even if offered for free, the actions you have taken are despicable.

Do you really need/want it back?

What do you guys think about this one? Some albums are quiet, some are clipping, hence:

Source is replaygained thoroughly including true peak scanning, and I process it like this:
I've made some tests and the results are perfectly at -0.5db album peak.

Last post by regor -In playlist manager, is there a way to sort the playlists alphabetically? or sort it in any way?You can select and drag n drop any of them for sorting, which also modifies their sorting in the UI playlist tabs. Obviously if you want to sort them all, it will take some time that way..
Anyway the native playlist manager is a joke... you can't even sort by the header columns.
If the idea is installing another component to do whatever the manager should do... I would simply recommend anyone to directly install any of the JS based playlist managers, which also have panel sorting decoupled from actual sorting within tabs.
