Hi - thanks for that.  I've installed the standalone component file no problem.  But I don't understand
what to do with the zip file.  I've tried loading it via preferences/install component but Foobar returns
an error message, file unrecognized.
thanks

It is a source file as it says "-src".
don't use.

Main machine has the "_mod" version and it's been so long that I forgot why I chose it...and I'm still on 0.8! I assume it's because I was using WASAPI and wanted it to only resample what my AVR could not handle. Too many components I'm still waiting on there though.
The last "mod" versions were .84 and are posted at the link below;  if anyone (Case?) wants to do 64-bit versions of them, much appreciated!

I prefer the "_mod" version as I do not want to resample songs with bitrates my Meier DAC can handle natively. So I would also appreciate a foobar 2.0+ enabled version of the "_mod" SoX resampler.

Hi there,

Is there a 32bit mod build for 0.8.7?

here is the mod version ;)
thank you so much, any chance for mod2 version?, unfortunately mod2 is crucial for me,

thank you in advance
best regards

you can try my slightly tweaked version of mod2 (thx CASE for x64 port of the original).
It has additional modes like "UP to 352/384". It will upsample all 44.1, 88.2, 174.4 files to 352k and 48, 96, 192 to 384k;
I haven't fully tested it though:

Case never did an x64 port of the original Ivqcl foo_dsp_resampler_mod2 release, so I assume this was re-worked from his x64 port of the foo_dsp_resampler 0.8.7 release?  Let us know how your testing goes please.

yes, by the x64 port of the original, I meant normal/non-mod version.
Some time back I ported mod features onto 0.8.7 base for personal use and now I've finally decided to move to x64 (thx to CASE).
I still miss the unmaintained mixer plugin that prevented clipping (it's only available in 32bit) and foo_uie_typefind (if anyone knows a good replacement, let me know).
Will check how the stock downmixer plugin performs.
Porting mod stuff from original 0.8.4 sources on top of the x64 port is relatively easy, but let me know if I missed something or you encounter an issue.
And hopefully not that long in the future we'll get a new version from lvqcl)

won't have access to my dev machine for a couple of days,
but here are my previous x86 builds of mod and mod2 (same 0.8.7 base) compiled with older SDK-2019-12-27 and without dark mode:

I like this tweak, thank you very much !!

always wondered why all that features are split to 3 different (original,mod,mod2) versions it should be incorporated into one as modes to choose from

Can the author of this topic be so kind to add x64 version of the component (or mention the alternative at least) to the first message, please? It's quite exhausting one has to scroll through 21 pages to find a solution suitable for Foobar 2.0 x64.

Just registered to ask: is there an initiative to finalize and include this on the foobar2000 components page? It would make updates easier and safer. This seems to deserve better than to exist just to be floating around in a forum topic (for years)...

Hi
May I know the best settings about the resampler?
just because sox faq link is not more working ,and seeing sox include 5 presets and plugin only 2 best and normal like the screenshot
and may i know where there is not more the option "resample only frequencies" ?
For what i have found in internet the best settings should be sox vhq linear phase

might you please if these are the best settings?

this is a mod2 version and it does inlcude resample only frequencies not bad but just a bit outdated

thanks
