CUETools 2.2.5 Open failed

hi folks, I'm hoping for some help with CUERipper.  I've installed v2.2.5 with Windows 10 Pro and when I run CUERipper I get the following error:

Open failed: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070020)

Any ideas what might be causing this?

thanks

Try closing Exact Audio Copy before you open CUERipper.

thanks - I've done that.

I also rebooted and started CUERipper with no other programs running and I'm still getting the same error.

The error is reproducible with Exact Audio Copy running.
Can you provide information about the optical drive?
Internal/External, Make/Model, etc.

A little newer internal model but no issue.

You could try checking (WINkey+ R, type control, hit OK)
Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > AutoPlay
or in icon view
Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > AutoPlay
for adverse Audio CD settings.

Looks like that worked.

AutoPlay for Audio CDs hadn't been set yet - still at 'Choose a default".  I changed it to 'Take no action' and it works now.

much appreciated
