Conformance bitstream AL03 sounds bad

I've had trouble getting this bitsream to past the conformance test RMS DIFF test (downloaded from ftp://ftp.iis.fhg.de/mpeg4audio-conforman.../referencesWav/

song is AL03_44.wav

The SPEC (ISO/IEC 14496-4:2000) does say that this song contains NONMEANINGFUL WINDOW_SEQUENCE TRANSITIONS. Maybe this is why it makes clicking noises?

Has anybody managed to get this song to pass the RMS DIFF test from an AAC decoder?

The output from my decoder sounds better than the conformance bitstream PCM

The RMS DIFF test is only meant for the sine sweeps, e.g. AL00 tracks.

thanks.

What about AP01 this is part of the LTP Test Bitsteams. This is also a sine sweep. It can be used for this also? I have not yet got it to pass this test.

I have used PNS test for AL09,AL10, but what about AL02 - AL05, is there any way of testing these apart from listening tests?

Supprisingly i have got AL02,AL04,AL05 to pass with the RMS DIFF tests?
