Checking "Overread into Lead-in and Lead-out" for drive

I have a "ATAPI iHAS124 A BL0A" drive as reported by EAC. Its read sample offset correction is +6 in EAC, I have AccurateRip configured. I have tried using the "Detect read sample offset correction" to see if my drive can overread but none of my CDs are recognized.

But I am unsure if I should check the "Overread into Lead-In and Lead-Out" option, I have searched on http://www.daefeatures.co.uk/ but it does not have information on the drive I use. However it did come up with one drive that is also ATAPI and has the same +6 read offset, which can overread. Would it be safe to assume my drive is also the same?
