I'm wondering if anyone knows what are the settings used for Windows Media Player 12 Rock EQ preset. To me it sounds better than other settings or players, so I want to reproduce it to other players.
Here's a screenshot:

Please type it in following format:
32 64 ....
+3 -2.5 .....
Thanks,
You'll need to record the output of white noise with this EQ applied, then bring it into a capable audio editor to determine what the dBFS values are at each point. Note, however, that you'll need to enure that your Q is maintained across equalizers in order to duplicate the sound of this equalizer: it's not as simple as duplicating each frequency setting. A paragraphic equalizer could be used to get a rough idea of the correct Q.
I think I've reproduced it for WinAmp, of course WinAmp needs to be setup in Options->Preferences->Playback->Equalizer to "WinAmp 4Front EQ" & "ISO Standard Frequancy Bands".
I've did test listenings and it sounds identical or almost identical (I havent played it very loud though, so Im not sure if its 100% identical).
Anyone insterested can download the EQF file for Winamp here:

Update:
Im appologizing, the last band was a bit higher than it should, so heres updated EQF
