EAC, Tools-- Copy Cd

Hi, i've gotten the hang of EAC and works great. But when i go into EAC and instead of ripping the cd, just want to copy it, i go to Tools, copy cd. And it wants a blank cd-r. But i put one in there and it doesnt. Work i get an error as it tries to write?>

Do you need 2 drives one with the cd in, and the other with a blank cd-r?

Yes you need two drives; a reader drive, and a writer drive.

Hard to believe I've been using EAC for so many years, and never once did I even notice that feature.

Edit:
It would probably help to have both the discs in both drives before you begin!

Just tried it out for myself with a CD-RW.
If you have any discs that are CD EXTRA (discs that contain an audio CD portion and a data CD portion) EAC will only copy the audio CD portion.

Oh, ok thanks Andavari for the conformation. And thanks greynol for the heads up. "so it is no different than doing this manually."
