[Feature Request] Compressor (DSP)

Compressor for what?!
Thats easy. If you listen loud music in a noisy environment, soft passages will not be heard. A compressor compensates this by amplifying quiet passages.

the compressor spoils the sound, severely distorting the amplitude, as well as the high and mid frequencies. such a sound sounds very unnatural and very unpleasant to listen to. I am against it, because as a minimum, nobody needs it, except for schoolchildren listening to rap or techno.
