My Bower Wilkins headphones won't use AptX with Windows 10 anymore

I have Bower Wilkins PX7s and they used to work great with my phone and laptop, but now they always sound like a 90s handsfree headset when used with the laptop. I've installed Windows Performance Analyser to look at the protocol info, but it doesn't help with fixing the issue. I'm hoping someone here can help.
