Album List Freezes Foobar

Ok, it seems that whenever I try to use Album List it'll give me the error telling me that I need to configure the database, then open the preferences window. Upon doing so however, foobar completely freezes, except for the music, which plays to the end of the track then stops. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling (and subsequently lost all my plugins, damnit ) to no effect.

Using foobar 0.7.5 on Windows XP by the way.

EDIT: Forgot to add that opening the database window normally by going through the preferences works fine, it's just when albumlist tries to open it that it freezes.
