For example, the website Bandcamp offers mp3s or FLAC's.Bandcamp offers AAC, Ogg Vorbis and ALAC too.
Hi there. As far as I know that's as easy as setting your panel right at appearance (transparency). Let me know if that works.
@regor ,Is it possible to set the background color of the window to match the color of the main theme? (see picture).
But the pointer does not appear on the map. WilB's script is integrated.
Can't figure out what's wrong?
The other problem... I don't understand it without more data. Integration must be installed AND enabled. And obviously, the artists must have that data on last fm (or on the track's tag)... otherwise it does nothing.
This is pretty cool, but one recommendation.I already offer a possibility to change the image to whatever you like, so... feel free to change it if you don't like it (?).
The map it uses is a bit odd, given that probably 70%+ of recorded music is from about 8% of the map area (US/EU) and I'm not aware of any recordings from Antarctica which is generously represented on the projection.
You put a lot of good work into this, it would be nice to see it better.
Cutting the map to not show Antarctica would break Mercator coordinates and make it incompatible with other standard maps, which also breaks the design decision to let users to change the image.
Not going that route unless I can support both, standard maps and maps without Antarctica, without needing to use different coordinates. Will take a look at it.
Copy/paste works for me. I guess that's because I'm using a 32bit prefix with all this nonsense installed via winetricks...
sh winetricks gdiplus_winxp wsh57 fontsmooth=rgb msscript ie8
Then maybe you can help me.
In the github page there is a lot of projects. I download all and unzip in the folder xxx the instruction said.
A lot of files asked overwrite so i do overwrite
Now i'm start to doubt. There's a lot of scripts.I thought that the ones i must to use are the ones in buttons (mostly for the pictures).
But when I try to load it in a panel the say something about g theme.
Whit the map I can get a little futher, the panel load and i can see a map (but fuzzy with vertical lines of yellow) and when I select an artist with the locale last.fm tag a point is shown in the map that let me make a playlist with the same country, etc.
But when I try the integration with Biography it said that is not in the path.
The scripts can be used along other utilities or as standalone panels. For regular users, standalone panels would be preferred so yes... use the buttons. All the threads and the github readme point to the relevant buttons you need.
Also note that the button named "buttons_playlist_tools_menu" contains these utilities along many more in the form of a menu. I simply provide different ways to integrate them: standalone buttons, merged bars, menu or the bare-bone script...
If you make it work on linux, I would really appreciate if you compile the steps so I can add them to the readmes for other users.
About the map, please write in the relevant thread. Although again, that seems a linux related problem. You can manually install the mod anyway by yourself (if you have the script installed, you must edit the file and "include" the mod file on helpers), so I don't see a problem (the automatic integration can not work on every system by design).
It is running perfect. I'm a happy boy, happy happy.. sorry Now I have to nerd all background stuff on all my music video, and find a nice way to file them I need a weekend
Btw good and huge open-source databases of acoustic data.
Then I set up Equalizer APO and discovered that ALL output options were sending 6 channel audio even for mono and stereo content. If: inputChannelCount == 2 no longer worked, instead, If: inputChannelCount == 6 must be used for all cases... which completely defeats the purpose.
This is true for Primary Sound Driver and any other option.
Foobar2000 1.3.10 did NOT behave this way.
I also noticed that if iTunes is set to Windows Audio Session it always outputs 6 channels, while setting it to Direct Sound it behaves as expected.
Can anyone confirm and/or shed some light on this?
Here are the relevant console entries:
Primary Sound Device:
item focus changed
Opening track for playback: "F:\Music\Beatport\David Tort, Mark.M, Yas Cepeda, Ella Loponte - Strangers (Extended Mix).mp3"
Device: Speakers Digital (SPDIF) (DTS DCH Audio Device)
Mix format: 48000 Hz / 32-bit float / 6 channels (0x3F)
Sending stream: 48000 Hz / 32-bit float / 6 channels (0x3F)
This should be sending 2 channels for a stereo audio file, right? No stream / mix format entries for WASAPI:
WASAPI Primary Sound Device:
item focus changed
WASAPI shared configuration: 48000 Hz, 6 channels (FL FR FC LFE BL BR), 32 bps (float). Buffer size 1056 frames.
Opening track for playback: "F:\Music\Beatport\Wild Dee - Sunny (Original Mix).mp3"
This is what I'm resorting to for now.
WASAPI VB-Cable (Force Stereo):
item focus changed
WASAPI shared configuration: 48000 Hz, 2 channels (FL FR), 32 bps (float). Buffer size 1056 frames.
Opening track for playback: "F:\Music\Beatport\Gorillaz, D.R.A.M. - Andromeda (feat. D.R.A.M.) (Purple Disco Machine Remix).mp3"
No, I have not reported my issue anywhere officially yet.I send crash report every time.
^ I believe this is what Peter is referring to - you sent crash reports to the tracker.
Try SRC or SOX resampler...
Does optical cable properly support 192000Hz? - could that be related to crashes? (Not sure, just asking)
Alright that makes sense, I misunderstood him.
I will play with these resamplers and see how it goes.
