CD Ripping Problems

Hey all,
I'm having a weird issue with ripping CDs. It seems to read the first track, but then keeps ripping and overwriting that same track over and over, so at the end of the rip I still only have one file. I've tried to rip with both FLAC and LAME MP3 encoders, but the issue persists with both. I've tried some quick searches, but I can't find anyone with the same problem. I don't know what could be wrong; It's never done this before. I'm running v. 1.3.17 and Windows 10, and my CD drive is a USB Apple SuperDrive. Below is my list of components copied from the preferences pane. If there's any more info I can provide that will help, just let me know. Thanks in advance!

Only explanation I can think of is that your converter is set up in such a way that all tracks use the same name. When you are in the CD ripping dialog you can pick an existing preset at the bottom right corner. You should use settings that ensure unique names. And paths if you rip more than one CD at a  time.

I recommend making a custom preset for use with ripper, Under Destination configure the target directory with the "Specify folder" setting and for file name use for example this: [%album artist%\][%album%\]%tracknumber%. %title%

Save the preset with a descriptive name so you can find it easily in the ripping dialog in the future.

Thanks for the reply. I'll take a look at the destinations and see if there isn't something I messed up.

Whaddaya know, that fixed it. I had tried to designate a subfolder with the album name as the destination, and somehow messed up the file names. Thanks for the help!
