FLAC codec help solicited for GNU Sound Library

I just got an E-mail from the developer of the libsndfile GNU sound library asking for someone to help finish his support of the FLAC codec for this GNU sound library. He says someone started it and it is 90% complete but needs some work to finish it.

If anyone out there is a C developer who could pitch into this GNU project, it will help FLAC be supported by other audio applications which uses this linsndfile sound library to load/save various audio file formats. This is the sound library that the open source Audacity program uses as well, so you by helping libsndfile you will likely be helping to add FLAC support to Audacity indirectly.

If interested, contact the libsndfile developer, Erik de Castro Lopo via his E-mail link on his web site linked to below.

For more info about the libsndfile GNU library, visit:

Thanks to anyone who is a developer and can pitch in on finishing the FLAC implementation in this GNU sound library!

The libsndfile developer has said that the FLAC support is finished.  The new release will be up when a few other issues are worked out.
