Issue with Tagging (Mac)

Not sure how far you've got with this but you have looked at MusicIP. They have a free OSX program (MusicIP mixer) and a free utility (genpuid) which can analyse your tracks acoustically and match them to their database, it works suprisingly well. Not sure if it works with wav files but I think it works with at least AAC and MP3, So it wouldnt read your existing tags but it identify your tracks and write new tags, probably with better info than you had in the first place.

cheers paul

Thanks, but thankst gawd the deed is done and MAX worked flawlessly.  Sbooth  has a wonderful program and I can't speak highly enough about it or him.

And I believe I was remiss earlier in not thanking everyone else for their great help.
