EAC crashing when popup is required

I'm not sure what happened, but EAC is completely screwed up for me. I went to rip a CD, and when I go to create a .CUE, it crashes. Couldn't find anyone else with the same issue, so I figured I'll just uninstall and reinstall it, start fresh. I got everything set up, and tried again, and had the same exact issue. I'm also noticing any time I a pop up is required (choose directory, create cue files, etc.), it causes EAC to crash. I'm at a loss as to what to do, any help would be appreciated. I am using EAC 1.6 (I also tried 1.3 and had the same issue).

What is the setting for
EAC Options > Directories ?

(Just checking that it's not pointed to an invalid or protected location).

Right now it's set at "Ask every time", when I click "Use this directory > Browse > Select Folder" it crashes on trying to select a folder.
