Windows customizing display question.

This may not be the most appropriate place to ask this, but I can't find an answer anywhere. If you can direct me to another place, that would be good too.

My question is: I use windows classic theme, I've modified the colors through the basic options to make it a white text black background theme. I love it, I've been using it for a long time, the only thing is the borders of everything are these white lines on two sides of everything to make it look like its poping up or sunken. I want these white lines to be darker. I don't want anything else changed.

I can't find anything to modify only that. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

No. That doesn't change it.

That changes the color, but it always remains a very bright color, no way to change it to be dark through the display settings as far as I know.
