Wishlist: foo_bitcompare to warn me when source is same file as target

It sometimes happens that I by mistake choose A and A to compare, rather than A and B. fb2k does indeed compare A to A, and reports no differences.

Can I wish for a more idiot-proof behaviour?

(I would probably prefer it to report in the end, rather than merely giving me the choice between 'ignore, continue' and 'abort' – if I have started a big job, I would probably not want to search manually.)
