Preserve vertically maximized state on Windows 7/8

In Windows 7 (and Windows 8 as well) you can double click on the top or bottom edge of a window and it will set the window height to max. In other programs I've used, when you close and re-open them the window height is still set at max, but foobar2000 doesn't work this way. After it is closed and re-opened, the window height is set to what it was before it was set to max. Would it be possible to make it so that the program remembers its max height setting?
