Up to 1.3mbit frames in Musepack & Vorbis?

After saying something on ASR, They got rude about when i said even at 160kbps setting there will be samples. That will reach 240kbps or 560kbps. When they said 500kbps is stupid in lossy compression bonus points on one acting so sure he can tell without ABX testing. On purients shipwrecker diary there a track that has a section that hovers at 700kbps! on MPC Q5.
Got locked out on a password i didn't remember. :/

What is this, complaint for another user? Why does it need to be posted publicly here?

Musepack is VBR by design, so what is the problem if some samples reach 700 kbps and even more?
I've noticed that such high bitrates are used on quiet passages, which is justified, I think. I've never heard artifacts on quiet parts, typical for some other codecs at comparable average bitrates.
